Filters out the largest micro-organisms, sediments, hair, sand, rust, scale and other impurities.
Activated Carbon Absorption
The activated carbon made from coconut shells removes organic chemical matter, chlorine, chlorine byproducts (VOCs, THMs, HAAs, etc.), tastes, odours, pesticides, herbicides, PFAs and over 80 other contaminants. It also reduces the quantity of heavy metals like lead, copper and mercury, among others.
Bacteria can multiply on carbon media that does not contain silver and, subsequently, be released into the water supply. Silver impregnation prevents contamination of the activated carbon filter and provides additional bactericidal effects.
Hollow fiber Ultrafiltration Membrane Technology
The 0.02 micron hollow fiber membrane filters bacteria, microplastics and performs other physical filtration as well as trapping any remaining heavy metals.

Replace the cartridge every 4 to 6 months
The life of your cartridge depends on your level of consumption and water quality. After a maximum of 6 months, the carbon block and ultra filtration membrane fills up with particles and contaminants. Using the filter for longer than recommended increases the risk of these passing back into your drinking water. Some users change every 3 months.
